What extraordinary learning is all about!

For more than 68 years, Museum School has been opening young minds to a world of natural wonder.  Museum School offers informal, discovery-based science and history classes that are enriched with Museum specimens or artifacts, creative activities, science investigations and other hands-on explorations.

Summer Museum School will include a variety of classes for preschool and school-age children featuring natural science, physical science, space, dinosaurs, engineering, and other engaging topics. Children must be ages 3-9 by May 31, 2018 to be eligible for enrollment in their class level.

Registration is open! Click HERE to open the full Museum School Summer 2018 class brochure which has the class schedule, class descriptions, registration instructions and the registration form. Phone-in registration begins March 20. Registrations may also be submitted by fax, emailed attachment, or mail.  Please check the Class Schedule grid on page 4 of the brochure for current availability. The Class Schedule grid is updated at the end of each day. Some classes may already be full by the time a registration is submitted, therefore listing several class options is recommended.

The Museum School Scholarship Program offers economic assistance to families in order that their children may experience an educational and exciting Museum School class. Funding for the scholarship program is made possible by generous contributions from individuals whose goal is to help all children gain the life-long benefits Museum School has to offer. A limited number of scholarships – awarded on financial need and qualification – are allotted on a first-come basis. Click HERE to download the Museum School scholarship application for the Summer 2018 program.  The application has details on qualification, required paperwork and instructions for submitting the application.
