One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure
Grades: PK-1
Our younger guests can join Big Bird, Elmo and their friend, Hu Hu Zhu, for a look at the stars we all can see. Take an imaginary trip to our moon and back. Learn where we can find the Big Dipper!

Explore objects that move in our little part of the universe: the sun, the Earth, the moon and the stars. Your students will move through night and day and visit some favorite constellations.


This Is Your Captain

Take a journey with our captain through the planets, sun, moons, rings and asteroids that make up our incredible solar system!

Grades: 3-6
Explore seasons, lunar rotation and phases, the sun and solar phenomena, auroras, gravity, comparative sizes and distances of objects in our solar system, and meteorites. All the important elements of Earth and its closest neighbors will be presented to your students.

Explore seasons, lunar rotation and phases, the sun and solar phenomena, auroras, gravity, comparative sizes and distances of objects in our solar system, and meteorites. All the important elements of Earth and its closest neighbors will be presented to your students. We will expand your students travel experience to the edge of the known universe.


Solar Tours
Grades: 3-7
Climb aboard the U.S.S. Noble for a fun and informative journey from the center of our solar system to its very edge.


Black Holes:The Other Side of Infinity

Journey with us as we try to unravel the mysteries of the most curious objects in our universe.


Fragile Planet
Grades: 8+
Earth is the only known haven for life, and we explore the importance to protect her. Our journey takes us to the moon, Mars and beyond the Milky Way to explore exoplanets and the possibility that life could be sustained elsewhere in our universe.

Celebrate 400 years of using the telescope. Follow two students as they learn how this wonderful instrument has helped us understand our place in space.


IBEX: Search for the Edge of the Solar System
High School
Launched in 2008, this mission is returning amazing data about the dynamics of the outer heliosphere, where the hot solar wind slams into the cold expanse of space.

  • Group Minimum: 15
  • Group Maximum: 95
  • Required Chaperones: admitted free
  • PK-K: 1 adult/6 students
  • Grades 1-12: 1 adult/10 students
  • Additional chaperones: $4.50 All students must be accompanied by a chaperone at all times.

Fun Fact

The Museum creates original exhibits that open in Fort Worth then travel to children's and science museums across the nation, seen by millions. Current traveling exhibits include Joshua's Journey, Risk!, and CSI: The Experience.
