When established in 1941, the Museum was the first children's museum in Texas and one of the first children's museums in the nation.

The Lamplighter Circle is an upper-level membership program which recognizes and provides benefits to individuals and families giving $1,000 or more in general support to the Museum through this program.

Lamplighter Circle memberships are available at the $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000 levels.
